My passion for styling started when I received "Fashion Plates" on my 10th birthday. This toy sparked my creative imagination; I would spend hours creating and coloring new paper doll outfits. I also spent a good amount of time washing my Barbie's hair in hopes of making it feel softer!
I knew I wanted to be a stylist when I got my first perm. After all it was the late eighties, go big or go home! The next morning I looked into the mirror and saw a poodle staring back… not cute! The worst part was that I didn't know how to fix it; the stylist didn't teach me how to work with my new curls, and I didn't think to ask. Remembering that disappointing experience has fueled my passion for education. Not only for educating myself, but for educating you, my client, as well. I want you to rock your new hair out of the salon, but also make it easy for you to style on a day to day basis.
In my free time I am a huge movie buff, and probably watch more Reality TV than I should. I’m also passionate about music and love going to concerts; from Justin Timberlake, to The Black Keys, to Maroon 5, I will try to get there! The music industry is where so many styles and trends are born.
My goal is to work New York Fashion Week, styling with the world’s top designers! I love fashion and enjoy discussing head-to-toe styling, not just hair styling. Regardless of whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a business professional, or anywhere in between, I can help you find a look that you will be confident and excited about!
